| Known as Sheepcote Road Farm in 1916. Part of Sudbury Court Farm until 1957. The farm was said to be 250 acres in 1916. William Perrin and his sons William and kenneth farmed the 250 acres of Sudbury Court Farm, Sudbury Farm and Harrow Park Farm with a herd of 500 cattle. It is said that William had been farming here for 50 years in 1916. Another of Williams siblings, Edward Perrin farmed Lyon Farm and two other farms in Preston. His farm also closed in 1957 with the land being left to the council as a recreation ground - the charity is still listed, however, the land was soon built on. |
