The large vessel can still be seen on the 1960 aerial photograph, as well as the distinctive creek pattern |

the wreck looks rather like a Royal Navy motor gun boat of WW2- it think it is too large to be a motor torpedo boat as these were quite small and very fast, the gun boats did around 20/25 knots compared with the MTBs 40 knots |

I agree with Dave Brunt that this is Stoke Creek near, Allhallows looking south. The inlets match with the OS mapping. |

Deck-edge 'notches' just forward of wheelhouse suggest that this vessel launched torpedos. |
