Watergate Street Deptford. Originally called King Street and once was the main thoroughfare to the river (and the Royal dockyard). By this point in time Watergate Street and a lot of it's neighbouring roads had become a slum and by the early 1980's had been cleared of most of the old terraced houses which were replaced with LCC blocks of flats or new dwellings.

Deptford East Power Station. Built in 1953 and closed in 1983, standing derelict until 1992 when it was finally demolished. This station was constructed on the site of the world's first power station, built in the late 19th century by Ferranti.

Borthwick Cold Store. Designed by Sir Edwin Cooper and built in 1934, this cold store was owned by Thomas Borthwick and sons and presumably gave its name to the cobbled street in front, which was originally Butchers Row. The Cold Store closed in October 1972 and was demolished in 2006/7.

Paynes Paper Wharf. Constructed as John Penn's boiler works, but rumour has it that this building (with its arched facade on the riverside) was originally intended to be a terminus building for a railway branch line to a ferry service that never happened. This wharf was to later handle newsprint and general cargoes, becoming an egg breaking factory in the mid to late twentieth century. Sold to Hays for document storage in 1984 and in 2007 demolished except for the outer walls before eventually being rebuilt as flats in 2013.

This was the Royal Victoria Victualling Yard. A naval victualling depot had existed here from the 17th century until 1961. A number of the original structures remain.

This was the site of the Royal Naval Dockyard Deptford. It was an important naval dockyard from the Tudor period up until the mid 19th century, when it became unsuitable for the newer iron clad ships. It declined in use and closed completely in 1869. The site was used in both WW1 and WW2 as a military supply depot.

This was the site of North Greenwich Station. It was the terminus of the short branch from the main London to Blackwall line and opened in 1871. It was little used and was forced to close in 1926.
