Somebody who knew their pre-WW1 Royal Navy vessels could probably work out which are being scrapped here at the Thomas Wards shipbreaking yard at the mouth of Black Bridge Pill, probably early 1920s. On the left there's an old four-stack pre-Dreadnought with a ram bow; in the middle what also looks like a pre-Dreadnought, though a bit younger (lots of small armoured structures on the main deck, not an all-big-gun ship); another with a ram bow on the right.
