 The Happy Valley open air theatre. Run for so many years by Alex Munroe, father of film star Janet Munroe.
As a child I spent many happy hours sitting on the grass watching and listening to the entertainment. If we were sitting on the gassy banks outside the perimeter of the theatre, we would be occasionally accosted by a member of staff who'd walk round with a box taking cash contributions from those of us too tight to pay for admission! |

Llandudno Pier at 2295 feet is the longest in Wales. The original entrance in 1877 went to the right of the Grand Hotel, in 1884 a further entry was built over the sea to the left of the Hotel. The landing stage was used by ferries and tourist cruises until it became unsafe in 2007. |

The landing stage - the 1969 one anyway is coming back thanks to Conwy CBC's confidence in ships returning Lets hope they are right! |
