Binswood Hall, Binswood Avenue - Grade 2* listed. English Heritage Building ID: 481550 In image- School. Leamington College for Boys. Former previous incarnation as a Girls' Convent School then Leamington College for Boys, a Boys Grammar School, which opened in 1848. From 1903-1916 it was occupied by the Society of the Sacred Heart, a French Catholic convent school. During the rest of the First World War it was occupied by Dover College, and then once more (1922) Leamington College. This school merged with a secondary modern school, in 1977 to form a comprehensive. 1977 Three schools merged- Blackdown High School (Park Road site), Leamington College for Girls, a girls grammar school (Cloister Way site) and Leamington College for Boys (Binswood Hall site) on Binswood Avenue - this Binswood Hall site became the 6th Form Centre. In September 2009, a completely new school was opened on another site. This site today- due to be completed 2015, grade II-listed Binswood Hall is to become a 'retirement village' for over 55s featuring 90 apartments.

Arnold Lodge School - founded in 1864. Originally a dame school kept by Mrs Worthington at 2 Lillington Place, the school was in 1864 taken over by a former Assistant Master at Leamington College, Mr Alfred Kirk. He was an admirer of Dr Thomas Arnold of Rugby School, and named the school Arnold Lodge School. The school will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2014
