In 1921, the railway company would have been the London & SW Railway - it only became part of the Southern Railway in the 'Grouping' of 1923.

LSWR locomotive, possibly an M7 0-4-4, running round it's train, to return to Waterloo, no doubt.

Diving board for the more adventurous swimmers who used like swimming below the weather. The wimps, like me, swam below the lock were there was very little current and an even bottom.
