Newburn House home to the Chief Mechanical Engineers of the Swindon Railway Works. Now demolished the only reminder left of the name is Newburn Crecent.

AW Shop where wheels were assembled onto axles, metal tyres fitted and and then turned on wheel lathes ready to be fitted onto the locomotives.

On the GWR site now is the STEAM Museum and in that are 12 War Memorials to workers that died in WW1 & WW2. The images in the attached composite photo were taken on the 8th June 2013 after a Britain From Above get-together.
