View is roughly from the North-West.

There has been significant change in this photo, with the M6 running parallel to the Tame Valley Canal on the camera side, a large electricity switching centre/sub station, and housing development. The factory, it seems, is no more.

My Dad, Eric Holmes, worked as an electrician here up to about September 1971 when we emigrated to Australia. Wondering if anyone knew him and had any stories to share? I do know that the man who replaced him died in an accident there about a year later.
