The original street-level building of the first Watford station built by the London & Birmingham Railway. This building survives, but is now almost entirely concealed by an adjacent modern high-rise development. Nothing remains of the old track-level buildings. The station was rebuilt on its current site when the St Albans branch was opened in 1858.

Looks like a collection of old coaching stock now in the service of the Engineering department.

It's 1953 and the L.M.S.Railway has been gone some five years. This 2-6-2 Tank engine has it's British Railway number of 4002? but still has L.M.S. on the tank side.
