| Chesterfield Central Station. Closed in 1963 and demolished in 1973 to make way for the Chesterfield Inner Relief Road. 'The Bypass' follows the tracks of the old railway (top right to bottom left in the photograph) and joined the existing railway line just beyond the Lockoford Lane roundabout. |

| Site of the old Willetts sweet factory, before it relocated to King Street North, off Whittington Moor. It was demolished in 1973, along with the Chesterfield Central Station (just above in the photo), to make way for the Chesterfield Inner Relief Road (or 'The Bypass' to you and me). |
