Katy Could I ask if you have any clues to help us in locating these photos? An adjoining numbered photo was taken at Alperton but on a different day so it is not much of a help. At present I would only guess that we could narrow these down to the South or Midlands which leaves a lot of ground to cover. Any possible help would be appreciated. |

Hi Class31, I don't think you'll thank me for this...the original Aerofilms Ltd Register entry for EAW026669 is "Bristol Water Works Co., Telephone Avenue, Bristol 1 - Run 1" So it looks like the entry records the commissioner's address, not image location. However, this makes it more likely that the images fall within the area that the company had responsibility for. Yours, Katy |

Hi Katy Thanks for the tip. After poring over the maps covering the Bristol Water Company area for a large part of the weekend I had another look at the Heron's Green area to the west of the Chew Valley lake and this is the location of this series of photos. The series of unidentified photos is of this area. EUREKA. Now to fill in the details! |
