Pidgeonwick, Fallows Field. Home of Ellen Terry, the most famous Victorian/Edwardian actress. Her children Edith and Edward Gordon Craig (famous theatre practitioner) were brought up there. Terry’s lover and father of the children Edward William Godson and architect designed the house. It stood until the 1960s. The roads Pidgeonwick and Fallows Field are named after it.
