The "cut area" was attached to Arrow Park; was used for the 3rd Boy Scouts' World Jamboree in 1929; was used for ATC training in 1950s (I remember squaddies "playing snipers" hiding in the grass, with child-me being asked to be lookout); now the site of Arrow Park General Hospital.

It looks like they have cut drainage channels into the field so that it drains into the brook.

Is this Arrowe House Farm, at the junction of Arrowe Park Rd, later demolished and replaced by Champion Spark Plugs?

Yes, it is. Ken Adams's farm.

Did you know Ken Adam's son, Ray? Lovely guy. I lost touch with him when they sold the farm. Great area; great days.
