At this point, unfortunately just not visible because of foliage, there is a gate which, even to this day, gives access in and out of the City. In olden times this gate was locked each night at 2100 hrs. After that time any Welsh person found within the City was liable to be hung. Pretty darned drastic I would say. Nos da!
