These three pairs of semi detached houses which are stepped back from the road to accommodate the bend in the road may still be seen today.

This building is now the Asiatic Superstore and may be seen on Google. It is clearly the same building.

One of the main 'A' roads in/out of London (comment about bus noted thanks)?

Unusual hoarding/ screening, which seems to be across the street; possibly there to advertise the new houses being built down that same street?

Phone box, although it looks like AA rather than GPO.

Before the red-painted cast iron GPO phone boxes we got used to, many were cast in concrete, and this appears to be one of that type.

Thanks for all the info and pins to confirm the location - unfortunately the photo date falls between the available OS mapping in such a way as to make the identification tricky! We'll update the catalogue record for the image and post the new data here in due course.

A typical view of a jet on the low level approach to Heathrow Airport from the east. Photograph taken on 16th July 2013 on Bath Road bus 81 in the vicinity of The Waggoners Roundabout.

Well done Dave Brunt for identifying the location of this photograph which is so important for British aviation being under the flight path of the approach to Heathrow Airport. As you can see I was in the area on 16th July but I failed to identify this location but I did take a photo within the area which I have uploaded.
