This is the Welsh Language guide to using this, the Britain from Above website. It was created with the help of Trimsaran Primary School as part of the Welsh Community Project 'Building Trimsaran'

Here's a photo of two children from the nursery showing interest or recognising buildings in their village.

This is a photo of the children and parents from the local mum's and toddler group in Trimsaran taking part in the project by colouring in and creating houses to add to the aerial view.

This is a photo of the older people of Trimsaran taking part with the project, helping with the creation of the aerial photo of their village using old photos of the village.

This is a photo taken of the community project in the village of Trimsaran, which the children from the local village of Trimsaran toke part in by making parts of the aerial map to create the aerial view of their village.

The start of the story...

This is the start of a children's book set in the village that was kindly leant to project by a resident.

This is a photograph of a relative of one of the residents who joined in with the project, they thought this was one of the first cars to be owned in Trimsaran and their relative was very proud of it!

An impressively tinted view of the Miners Arms pub in Trimsaran. The tinting almost makes the family in the foreground seem like they have been added in afterwards!

An image of Spudders Bridge with a car in the process of crossing it. Today this narrow bridge which used to be the only road link between the village and Trimsaran is sadly over grown and serves as a pedestrian crossing whilst the new, wider road that runs alongside its forebear roars with the sound of modern traffic.
