David Robinson's Motor Garage at 26 & 28 St Cuthbert's Street. David Robinson went on to have radio & TV rental shops in and around Bedford. The business was very successful and was eventually taken over by Granada TV Rentals. David Robinson donated the money for Robinson Swimming Pool in the corner of Bedford Park and later owned Newmarket Racecourse. '
