Carlton Cinema, corner of the High Street and Colebrook Road. Built 1913, converted to a supermarket (Tesco) in the 1960s. Became quite run down as a cinema and nicknamed 'the flea pit'.
Now it's footprint is swallowed up by Walthamstow shopping mall complex. '
