' I think this large and imposing residence was called Haddo House. It was demolished in the early sixties to make way for a large public housing block (also called Haddo House) with smaller public housing units behind (Wheatley and Ravenscroft…I think). I lived in Wheatley with my parents and three siblings from 1964 to 1973 when I left for University. All of these buildings remain in 2021. My parents moved to a new development at Spedan Close in Hampstead in1978 '
