' Shown as an orchard on a map of 1936. But no company name attached. EW027916, taken in 1948, shows these to be greenhouses. Perhaps under construction to contribute to wartime food cultivation?. The 1948 photo also shows most of the trees have been removed and the land cultivated - as well as further greenhouses in use. '
