2 x Allis-Chalmers HD-19 Crawler Tractors. These would have been destined for the East African Groundnut Scheme. Started in 1947, to grow peanuts in Tanganyika as a contribution to both the African and British economies, the Groundnuts Scheme was abandoned four years later on January 9th 1951. So wherever these two particular Crawlers ended up, along with the four in the pin below, is anyone's guess. '
