The relatively new buildings opened in September 1931, after Cotham Grammar School (founded 1856) moved out from its congested Inner City site on Unity Street, after the First World War. These fine buildings replaced a patchwork of old army huts and remain the core of Cotham School on the Cotham Lawn Road campus in the 21st century. '
