This loco is hauling quite a lengthy goods train tender first. It is an LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 positioned in the photo as having just passed Fazakerley North Junction signalbox. It looks likely it will take the line curving to the right which is the northern spur of the Walton triangular junction, and may continue onwards to Walton-on-the Hill and the tunnels down to Huskisson Freight Terminal near Sandhills.
