The Ballantrae War Memorial. A grey granite Celtic cross with wheel-head and bosses which is now set on a low tapering shaft after the original shaft was blown over in the storm of June 1950, this rests on a large square pedestal. The commemoration and names of the dead are set in lead lettering on the faces of the pedestal. The names of the WWI dead are listed according to the year of death, including names up until 1920.
