The station was separate from the goods yard. I have now marked the station, which was on the Great Western line between Buildwas to the NE and Craven Arms to the SW. By 1955 the line was closed beyond Longville, two stations to the SW, and the section from there to Much Wenlock was only open for goods. Much Wenlock to Buildwas still had a passenger service at that time. But all was lost sometime in the 1962. |
