In 1931 the route was Heston, Mousehold (Norwich), Sheerburn, Hooton, Heston, Bristol, Heston. There were 40 starters and the race was won by Sqd. Ldr. E.C.T. Edwards in a Blackbird Bluebird IV (G-AACC). His average speed was 117.8 mph |
