Windmill Lane - the first road driven down by many of London's buses as it connected the Associated Equipment Company's Southall works to the rest of the world. See EPW019290

This is NOT Windmill lane, it's the entrance drive of AEC from the main gate (out of shot to the left, on Windmill Lane), and the works itself.

Advertising hoarding that brought in a little extra income to the railway at the expense of a certain amount of environmental intrusion.

Restaurant Car with kitchen in front half of the coach.

Not a restaurant car - it's a brake coach. A short-ish train like this was unlikely to warrant a full restaurant car anyway - maybe a buffet car though.

The locomotive retains Churchward's original austere running plate. By this time most of the class of 76 or so had curved fall plates at the smokebox end likewise at the cab side sheets. Some of the earlier Saints went for scrap in the 1930s; this locomotive might have been 2971 Albion, 2973 Robins Bolitho, 2978 Charles J. Hambro, or another of the locomotives built at Swindon in 1905

Quite a light train - only seven coaches. Possibly heading for Gloucester and Cheltenham?
