My Family lived in both houses. One from 1930's until 1952. The other from the 1940's until 1984. I was born there in 1965.

I lived here with my parents between 1944 and 1964 - 11,Greenford Avenue Southall

North Road School, Infants building. Demolished in 1979.

Holy Trinity church, Southall. Built 1890. Consecrated January 1891.

Southall Park

The Plough 89 North Road Southall. One of a very few pubs still open in Southall Town at the time of writing.

Red Lion pub. One of the very few remaining pubs in Southall.

Three Horse Shoes pub. As it was originally a Royal Brewery (of Brentford) pub, it was probably in Barclay Perkins ownership in 1935.

Southall UDC Town Hall incorporating the old fire station.

Tram on No 7 route to Uxbridge from Shepherd's Bush. This was to be the last year of operation of this tram route, which was replaced by trolleybuses. Quite recent roadworks in Southall revealed the tram lines to still be in situ, buried under a layer of asphalt.
