"Selles" removals. A classic combination from days gone bye. Percy Selles owned the coal business you see here in the days when if you wanted to move home but had no real money, you hired one of his carts on a weekend and after covering the top with a sheet, off you when. Joe Selles, his son, had the idea that by using a lorry, people could be moved further and just as cheap. Thus a very successful business was born here. This way of the start of doing removals was not peculiar to this firm it must be understood. http://www.sellesremovals.com/ They are still in business to this day having recovered from the short time I worked for them in the mid 60's.
