| 'Little Enoch' Daniel Adamson's Sentinel Works Locomotive driven by Mr Charles Haughton, 4 Adamson Street whose son's and daughters attended Globe Lane School.
The children would gather at the bottom of Pearson Street waiting for the locomotive to stop there whilst the driver had his dinner and in the hope they would be invite aboard and possibly hitch a short ride on the footplate.
