United Automobile Services Limited, Durham Bus Depot One Saturday in about 1975 I drove a full bus load of customers from here to Blackpool in bus number 6075. I went out via Barnard Castle and I drove back via Skipton. Quite a day out!

I attended 1958-1961 Miss Boxall, Mr Pallister, Mr Pickering & Mr Robson (Head). In Miss Boxall's class we used pens which you had to dip in inkwells. Mr Pickering had a 'rhino-hide' strap called 'Sir Herbert' which he always threatened to use but never did. Names escape me but a few: MartinLeake, Richard Rook, Raymond Wise, Peter Dewar, Sally Brown, Hazel Green,Jonathan Routh,Frank Kirby, Deacon Hopps,Martin Alnut,David Marley,et al
