It is, though it was known as Queen Square until officially renamed in 1951. Opened 17 May 1870 by the Midland Railway, terminus of their branch from Mangotsfield on the Bristol & Gloucester main line, though S&DJ had full use of it after their northern extension was completed in 1874. |
