![]() The road running left to right is the old route of the A38, called Worcester Street at this time, now Worcester Road, it ran through the town centre, became Bromsgrove High Street, then Birmingham Road. My first home was on the road, a few hundred yards off the right hand edge of the photo. At the bottom left hand corner are part of Bromsgrove (Public) School's grounds. Actor Ian Carmichael was a pupil at this time, as was AE Housman a generation before, and Trevor Eve later. |
