This building was still standing as late as 1995. It was nown locally as The Bolty. Now a small industrial park and recycling centre. The land in the foreground was developed in the 1930s as Kirk Street, Oxford Street and Turner Street.

My family stayed at 1A Turner Street between the 1910s and the 1950s so I assume there was an original Turner Street elsewhere until this new Turner Street was built in the 1930s? I assume the tenants in the original houses were given the chance to move to the new Turner Street and also keep their old address hence my families address never changed.
