| This building was still standing as late as 1995. It was nown locally as The Bolty. Now a small industrial park and recycling centre. The land in the foreground was developed in the 1930s as Kirk Street, Oxford Street and Turner Street. |

My family stayed at 1A Turner Street between the 1910s and the 1950s so I assume there was an original Turner Street elsewhere until this new Turner Street was built in the 1930s? I assume the tenants in the original houses were given the chance to move to the new Turner Street and also keep their old address hence my families address never changed. |
