| The fast through lines still exist today, but the track work is much simplified with the removal of goods shed sidings and the lengthening of the 'Down Loop'. |

| Fixed yard crane to which various cargos, including timber in the round and containers see here, are brought for loading and unloading. With the goods facilities split across both the 'Up' and 'Down" sides of the station a certain operation inefficiency was built in from the early days. |
