Model racing yacht boathouse. This building was heavily vandalised during the 1970/80s - People lost interest in this activity and latterly the lake was emptied and the boathouse demolished. The lake was re-filled in this millenium and stocked with fish. It is now used, in the main, for fishing.

Walton Hall Park, as shown in 1934, was new at this time. The park was officially opened by George V in that year. He also opened the Mersey Tunnel (Queensway) on the same day.You can see that the trees on the boating lake islands, and elsewhere, are new plantings.
