There was a railway station opened here as Tilbury on 13 April 1854 as part of the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway - Tilbury Riverside on 3 August 1934.
This building is 1924, listed Grade 2*.

Taken six years before my family moved into Peninsula Road and seventeen before I arrived. It shows the whole area I grew up, went to school and played in. Brings back many happy memories. |
