Edgeware Underground station at the end of the Northern Line. There were proposals to extend the Underground line north from Edgeware to a new terminus close to Bushey, and some civil engineering works took place, but the scheme was scuppered by the outbreak of WW2.

Goods yard worked by the LNER, formerly Great Northern Railway, branch via Mill Hill from Finsbury Park, which also had branches to Alexander Palace and High Barnet.

The White Lion ground, in 1930 home to Edgware Rugby Club. Edgware Town FC later played here from formation in 1939 until 2008.
