On what is now Parker Drive the beginings of which are leading up to the stadium. In later years this was also used for Stock Cars and Speedway but is now a housing estate and has been since around the early 90s. Not Mother Pride Bakery on Abbey Lane (was still there and working in the late 70s) which is now the site of the B and Q depot Other than that the industry that was to appear on Abbey lane is currently sparse as is any development |
