St Giles' Church - affectionately known as 'Pugins Gem'. Working with almost unlimited funds, Pugin was commissioned in 1840 by John Talbot, the 16th Earl of Shrewsbury, to create a church that 'would have no rival'.

Cheadle, Staffordshire. Town Centre. The A522 Tean Road from the bottom Left, Charles Street is straight up the middle. A522 Leek Road disappearing out of the top of the picture. B5417 Queen Street exiting on the right hand side of the picture. A512 Town End exiting from the left hand side of the picture.
