This is probably the original location of the Machine Gun Corps war memorial.

Without wishing to be impolite, and acknowledging pins can be 'hidden' by others coming to view, could 2 of 3 the pins for the same object be erased completely please?

The Royal Artillery war memorial is in the centre foreground of the image. The sculptor of the statues and reliefs was Charles Sargeant Jagger, and the bronzes were cast by A. B. Burton in Thames Ditton, Surrey. See http://http://www.ukniwm.org.uk/server/show/conMemorial.128/ (on 14 Nov. 2014).

N.B. The bronzes of The Quadriga on the Wellington Arch, the Byron Memorial, and the Wellington Memorial were also cast at Thames Ditton.

Also: The nearby Machine Gun Corps memorial was originally erected in 1925 next to Grosvenor Place (probably on image). It was dismantled shortly afterward [sic] due to roadwork, and was only rededicated in the central section of Hyde Park Corner in 1963. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine_Gun_Corps_Memorial (on 14 Nov. 2014).

I like tags that tell me stuff about pictures I do not know, like what is there and now is not, because of 'progress'.
