| The Brighton Marine Palace and Pier is generally known as the Palace Pier. Opened in 1899. The theatre at the end of the pier was removed in 1986 following damage by a loose barge in a storm in 1973.The pier is Grade II* listed. The pier has featured in many films and TV series. I would regard the Palace Pier as a national treasure. For more information please see Wikipedia. | Class31 | Tuesday 2nd of October 2012 09:53:35 AM |
