Was May 1921 hot and dry? It would appear the cricket wickets both in the nets and in the field above are fairly well used and indeed worn out for so early in the year. |

It's an interesting point, Maurice - as you may have realised, Aerofilms Ltd recording in their Registers wasn't always very consistent, and we find the date recording to be the worst during these early years. The previous glass plates in the list are 23 May and the ones after are 31 May, so this image over Hampstead is likely from the last week in the month.
