This was the GEC for many years until demolished - the Odeon cinema complex is now on this site. The ring road runs along near side of the site.

The Hotchkiss factory, later Morris Motors, later the Inland Revenue building - half of which burned down in 1966, 67(?), later DHSS and now part of Coventry University.
