The boat is behind the then premises of The Rotherham Motor Co. I worked there from 1957 and remember the boat but not what type, I was not boat knowlegable, the premises are now Wilkinson store |

| Westgate Station (1838-1952), closed to passengers six months before the date of this photo. Closure attributed to need for extensive work on the original 1830s bridge which gave access to the station site from the western bank of the river. |
