Kingsbury Maternity Hospital

RAF Stanmore Park. During WW2 this was a barrage balloon depot. After the war it was used as a stores depot for RAF Stanmore Park, surviving until 1997.

The Belmont Hotel

The Essoldo Cinema, Belmont. It opened on on 5th June 1939 and closed 21st Jan 1967, when for a short time it was used as a bingo hall until demolished.

This hut survives as the Belmont Community Centre. During the war this was a 'British Restaurant'. These were government sponsored community restaurants (very often run by the WVS), where cheap, basic meals could be purchased off-ration.
