The Pantiles public house would appear on this site. I think it may have been built in the 1950s, and what we can just about see is the pub under construction. There seems to be a handful of adjoining prefab houses. The pub is now a McDonalds restaurant.

This could well have been an old wartime Ministry of Supply depot judging by the numerous large Romney huts.

The Power station had its own locomotive for shunting the coal trains though the unloading procedure. It was powered by a 'plugable' steam connection direct into the power stations own steam circiut.
