| Trolleybus turning circle. On 18th October 1936 trolleybus route 623 finally forged the link between Tottenham and Woodford, a tram line had been proposed several times but nothing had come of it. 18 months later, on 8th May 1938, route 625 joined the 623 running through here. 30 buses each way passed in an hour during the morning peak. In 1953 plans were drawn up to put in a roundabout here. |
