Batley Sewerage Works. This site would in later years be chosen by Jimmy and Betty Corrigan to build the world famous Batley Variety Club,where international stars of stage and screen would perform. Sadly Eric Morecambe had his first heart attack after performing at this venue. He recovered in Leeds General Infirmary.
